1 week work experience with the Finance team at Oxfam (Newcastle Office).
Key responsibilities
During my time at Oxfam, I assisted the finance team and learnt about their processes for:
- recording weekly takings from over 400 shops around the UK.
- Processing gift aid claims stage 1 and 2.
- Updating Oxfam’s accounting system NAV live and Access database
- Processing mail

1 week work experience with the Finance team at Pink Boutique in Newburn.
Key responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices on their MFP accounting system
- Processing payments on the Bank portal
- Helping their warehouse team process orders and stock
- Learning about merchandising reports with their buying team
