I was a full time support worker for adults with complexed needs, including learning disabilities, I always consider a service users needs and aspirations of upmost importance and believe fully in a person centred, holistic approach to care. 

I have a NVQ level 2 qualification in Adult Health and Social Care. 

I deal with calmly and professionally any associated challenging behaviours. 

I am trained to level 3 in non abusive physical and psychological interventions (NAPPI). 

I am medication trained, epilepsy trained and first aid trained.

Counting and checking the service user's monies are in order and all correct. 

Allocating team members a service user so everyone knows who is supporting who throughout the day and letting the team member know of any appointments and scheduled activities that day. Supporting the team throughout their shifts in making sure things are done correctly and advising the team of any concerns. 

Communicating with management any concerns that I feel need addressing. 

Doing spot checks throughout the shift making sure all facilities are cleaned to high standards using. Making sure all cleaning products and PPE are available, re-ordering if necessary.

Footwear Sales Advisor

Advising and assisting customers on skate boarding trainers. 

Making sure the footwear is fitting the customers correctly by measuring their feet and adding insoles. Advising customers on all different insoles, socks and cleaning products. 

Moving footwear around to promote new and best-sellers to increase more sales. Responsible in keeping stock room tidy and keeping a track on stock levels. This involved: Making sure footwear was out away in the correct place. 

Putting the footwear in brands and size order to make it easier to locate when needed. Making sure all sides and styles are available.
