At Krinkels, I work with a small team to provide first-line support for field workers who use iPads to complete forms and reports. We ensure a proper setup of the iPads through ManageEngine Endpoint Central and make use of Facility Apps and Salesforce for reporting and tracking the workers’ daily activities. In addition, I provide daily support to office staff for Outlook-related issues and deliver solutions for any problems they may encounter. For this, I use Service Desk as the ticketing system.

At Howest, I was part of the ICT team, supporting the university college’s daily processes. This included account creation, access management, administration of Microsoft Office apps as well as Azure and Active Directory, database management, website maintenance in Drupal, SharePoint and MS Teams, Microsoft Copilot for MS 365, Adobe, license tracking, helpdesk metrics, and second-line support.

This program taught the fundamentals of IT. It covered Object oriented programming, Computer networks, Hardware, windows and Linus, App development and design and web development. I also learned to work with Blender. Various programming languages, including JavaScript, C#, Python, and PHP, were covered. The curriculum also included extensive training in security. Overall, it provided a strong foundational knowledge of IT.
