ASSISTANT MANAGER
BAY GROUP (GREENWICH) - Baku, Azerbaijan September 2022 to March 2023
The Company sells jewellery and accessories from worldwide known brands from Europe and USA. I was responsible for collecting information from the media about the brand that the Company would distribute to present the product to a broader range of customers and attract more investors and partners to the business. The presentation should demonstrate the history of the brand and its various products/models; a comparison to other brands via design and price. Moreover, I worked with MS Excel and Word to calculate overall sales and identify the product that was sold the most throughout the year. The analysis was used as evidence for the Company to determine the exact products that would be the priority when ordering new stock.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP DESIGNER/ENGINEER
KHAZAR ENGINEERING - Baku, Azerbaijan July 2022 to July 2022
I was offered an internship for two weeks with Khazar engineering as adesigner / engineer. Here I completed in depth training on AutoCad basics (being already familiar with it through my father’s tutelage). After that the company gave me a staircase project which gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my skills on a more substantial and “real-life” project. After this I was given a test skid to draught, which consisted of 2 piping streams through choke valves supported on a steel plinth with lifting eyes and rigging that is to be deployed onto a platform being constructed at present in Baku.
By the end of my internship, I had completed the tasks set for me successfully. This gave me very valuable experience relating to engineering and how this job must be performed, it was very exciting as an introduction to the career path I would like to follow.
