Woking in childcare you find not everyday is the same neither is every child. I have had the chance to experience working with children from the ages of 8months-5years and I am level 2 childcare qualified, first aid trained, level 1 and 2 food hygine and level 1 and 2 safegurading. I find that you have to work with each child according to their development stage which the EYFS has helped me to do so. For the last 3 years I have worked within a 1-2 room which I very much enjoy, we do a range of fun and educational activities such as: cooking, construction building, messy play/ sensory play, number counting/songs, dressing up/ role play, flash cards and lots more. I am able to follow dietary requierments and work with parents to give their child the most safe and positive environment to develop in. I have had experience with working with parents while doing potty training, also breaking old routines such as having dummy’s or bottles or even starting new routines such as eating hard foods, helping with independents with dressing/undressing and hygine routines such as washing hands brushing teeth after meal times and washing faces.

I have worked within a childcare setting for 5 years with children starting from the age of 8months-5years. I have experience with helping children develop at the appropriate stage for them guided by the EYFS, I work with parents to fulfill all the child’s needs. I like to make the environment as fun but at the same time educational by doing activities such as cooking, english flash cards, maths, arts and crafts, messy/sensory plays and much more.
