CNC Machine Operator

• Set up and operate machines, such as lathes, cutters, millers, drills, or auxiliary machines, to makeworkpieces.

• Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation,using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.

• Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to planoperational sequences.

• Start machines and turn handwheels or valves to engage feeding, cooling, and lubricating mechanisms.

• Monitor the machines during the whole process

• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if theprocess has been completed properly

• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
