Muhammad hussein Taib

I am a passionate and driven individual with experience in teaching Computer Science at a secondary level. My ambition to teach Computer Science is driven by my fascination of the field and I hope to inspire the next generation on a journey of technological explorations and subsequent achievements. After graduating with a first-class honours degree in Computer Science, completing a year in industry, I am currently the head of computing at Kibworth Mead Academy.

I have a huge passion for computing which had begun at a young age, this had continued to grow going forward into my academic studies and personal life. I have built multiple high-end computers for gaming whilst excelling in many other software engineering projects for fun. 

Whilst studying BSc(hons) Computer Science at undergraduate level it had given me exposure to multiple different computing constructs and programming languages. Some of these modules included elements of computing, data structures and algorithms, object-orientated programming, web penetration and development, databases and ethics. As well as this, some of the languages included C++, Java, PHP, SQL and Swift using X code.

Kibworth Mead Academy (July 2021 – Current)

• Currently a curriculum leader/head of department for computing and having made trust wide changes on a target path to impact KS3/4 by introducing new resources
• Leading intervention sessions on key topics such as Python and Binary in collaboration with teaching staff to target low and high attaining students with cross references through data analysis
• Creating a coherent, inclusive and well structured computing curriculum
