Musa Choudhary

I am a 1st year student at the university of reading currently doing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical sciences. As of the 17th may I am on my summer break looking to add more skills to my portfolio ontop of my already existing credentials in charity work and school ambassador. Im in particular interested in customer sales work at stores to provide a strong foundation for my future goals after my undergraduate degree.

At sixth form I volunteered in supplying Christmas presents to those less fortunate, this involved arranging and assorting hundreds of gifts based on age rating size and value which most of the morning and some of the afternoon.

Also, whilst in my first year of A levels I took part in a research project for my EPQ, worth 20 UCAS points and was 5000 words long, was about Asthma and the current treatments available, this involved me researching different medical procedures like bronchiothermoplasty, different kinds of asthma inhalers and the how asthma can affect people with either severe or mild symptoms. This taught me how to first present my information, correctly reference and use other useful tools. Such as reference managers, manage my time more proficiently in submitting my project and it also made me ensure that the information I found correlated with other sources.

I have completed a virtual work experience in health and social care by the BSW – integrated health system, which taught me all the roles of people in the NHS from doctors to receptionists and what their professional roles had them doing.

Project leading, strong aptitude to work well under pressure, able to learn quickly and proficient in time management and deadlines, able to confidently speak in presentations or talks
