About Nabila Tijjani:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a 2023 Business Management with Entrepreneurship graduate at Pearson Business School, formally applying to your Cover Teacher vacancy. Having completed a Level Certification in Children and Young People’s Mental Health qualification, I intend to pursue a Counselling qualification to support my journey to working with children. Furthermore, I am a self-starter who is passionate about supporting those with mental health problems and people in recovery. I enjoy problem-solving and take up learning and development opportunities within organisations for career advancement and building expertise.

An avid interest in self-development has been a crucial contributing factor to essential personal attributes required for performing in customer-focused roles and completing academic works and projects to a high standard. Proven by my final project “Ecommerce and drop shipping sustainability framework: can an eco-friendly ecommerce brand targeting Gen Z operate sustainably with a drop shipping business model?” was marked at 78 (1st). This research exemplifies a target and detailed drive to optimise the sustainability of digital platforms and processes for commerce which I can apply to the role.

Also, reaching the semi-finals of the Microsoft (EDI) University Business Challenge as a Pearson Business School team with a proposed technological solution for solving a world problem exhibited my creativity and developed my interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. Moreover, completing an internship with Pearson as a Data Analyst supporting the Revenue Operations Team proves my skills' versatility and applicability to developing business strategies for growth and digital transformations.

Former employers and colleagues have considered me a high performer because my skills and experience encompass competent usage of computerised equipment, a good working knowledge of word and excel, CRM and booking software systems as well as an excellent telephone manner. Hence, a consistent application of knowledge, experience and expertise has created a pattern within my employment history reflecting personal and professional growth and achievement.  For example, being promoted to supervisor and then assistant manager during my 2-year employment at Shannon’s for just over 2 years for maximising profits and productivity. Naturally operating like an apprentice enabled me to deliver excellent customer service consistently, and continual pro-activity by pushing the boundaries of all job roles with inspired creativity, and adaptability concerning working environments and procedures.

I look forward to hearing from you to discuss my application further.

Kind regards,

Nabila Tijjani
