I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with a strong passion for process safety, holding both NEBOSH and IOSH certifications. Throughout my academic career, I have focused on understanding the critical importance of safety in industrial processes and the environment. My experience includes risk assessments and safety analysis in projects such as carbon capture, where I applied techniques like Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Safety Integrity Levels (SIL). I thrive in collaborative team environments, where I can contribute to the development of safe and sustainable engineering solutions. With a keen interest in ensuring compliance with safety standards, I am now seeking a Safety Engineer role that allows me to apply my technical knowledge and passion for safety in industries like energy, manufacturing, or chemical processes.

As a Teaching Assistant, I ensured the safety and well-being of students, while running my own business honed my organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. I hold a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering (2:1) from Newcastle University, where I gained extensive knowledge in risk assessment, process safety, and hazard analysis. Additionally, I have completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Level 3) and IOSH Managing Safely (Level 2), providing me with a solid foundation in health and safety principles, legislation, and best practices. These qualifications have prepared me to identify workplace risks, implement safety measures, and contribute to a strong safety culture in any organisation.
