Nancy Egbunine

Am a graduate of public health, I have worked in many health projects supporting vulnerable individuals both adults and children. by maintaining important relationships and grow their social network and also provide opportunities to develop their skills in a way that respects the person involved, promotes their independence, and allows them to realise their full potential.

I have worked in many public health jobs over the years that was funded by United States agency for international development (USAID) on orphans and vulnerable children project where we supported children with mental health illness' and  learning disabilities. I Supported  children and adults  to stay safe, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them from abuse wherever possible. I provided emotional support when needed and maintaining a person-centred approach.I Supported  service users  to participate in chosen social activities and services in their community, manage their finances and medication responsibly, help with practical tasks around the home, and respectfully support with personal care, hygiene and healthcare. I monitored  their health and wellbeingI Complied  with all Health and Safety regulations . I understand clients dietary requirements and strictly adhere to it eg avoiding food allergies and food not healthy for there health conditions. I also learnt about client confidentiality, keeping client sensitive information secure and respecting there wishes. Eg keeping the data secured and password in it no one has access. I also know am responsible for the health and  safety of my clients , colleagues and myself. Eg once i notice anything suspicious I quickly report to a supervisor. Am proficient in use of computer softwares like MS word , MS Excel, Ms power point and other software data bases for inputting data and generating information records of clients .

I thrive in a dynamic work environment and have consistently demonstrated the ability to learn new skills quickly. I know how to take up responsibility and make a good team player . I have a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership experience and a proven record of delivering results .
