Nathan Thacker

Hi there I am a 38 year old guy, a member of the LGBTQ+ community currently living in the Midlands but looking for a fresh start. I've previously worked in Retail, Bars and Hospitality. Outside of my working life I enjoy songwriting (singing & playing guitar) something I have been doing since I was 13 and it remains one of my great passions to this day. I love travelling and exploring new cultures and places and meeting people from all walks of life. 

I am a kind, compassionate and hardworking individual, having worked in the public sector and customer service for over fifteen years.
I enjoy helping others and making sure that customers and clients queries and needs are met to the highest standards.
I have many transferable skills and experience that I believe would be beneficial for this position. I am able to listen and communicate effectively with others, I work well in a team and independently and am always willing to learn and take on new skills.

I have a foundation degree in Music Performance from Leeds Met via Hull College

I also have a BTEC in Performing Arts from Burton Tech College 

I currently hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 Certification
