Neelam Madden

I am a creative designer and talented illustrator skilled in a wide range of artistic styles and media. For the past few years, I have worked remotely as an illustrator & designer on educational resources and packaging graphics for a STEM education company based in India.

Another education related project I worked on was for SeasonWatch. SeasonWatch is part of the Citizen Science programme at India's National Centre for Biological Sciences.  I was asked to illustrate and design a poster displaying detailed illustrations of India's most common species of tree.  This was distributed to schools in India where it was used to teach children to monitor flowering and fruiting patterns. The Seasonwatch poster enabled me to make use of my ability to produce accurate, detailed hand-drawn illustrations but I am also accomplished in digital illustration.

I have worked as a freelance digital designer for Leo Learning in Sheffield. This required working independently, as well as with the design team. I received a positive feedback from them.

My most recent educational qualification is an MA in Illustration from Falmouth University. During the course I worked on several interesting projects and developed a strong visual language.
