About Neil Brooks:

I'm a recent graduate of the School of Code Full-Stack Developer bootcamp. My primary frameworks used were Javascript, including React and NodeJS, HTML and CSS, as well as SQL, Figma and testing frameworks such as Jest/Playwright. I'm passionate about technology and especially front-end development, which to me means being able to use creativity and flair to deliver a positive service.

Experience

Before I joined the School of Code, I spent the last few years as an Account Officer with the Independent Schools Inspectorate. I was responsible for managing weekly inspection teams for members of the Independent Schools Council. I managed the process end-to-end; selecting the team, overseeing the preparation process, liaising with the schools on and after the inspection, and quality-checking the inspection report. I managed routine inspections as part of a dedicated Delivery team and had singular management over one-day ad hoc visits.
