I am a thoroughbred finance professional with more than 25 years of Accounts & Finance experience in varied industries such as Education, Oil & Gas, Shipping, Manufacturing, Trading etc. 

I am very confident in all aspects of accounting and finance and can assure that I can bring with me all the knowledge and expertise that I have acquired over the years. 

Together with accounting and finance, I am very proficient in Client Contracts, Procurement, Costing, Pricing, Management Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, UAE Corporate Tax, UAE VAT filings, GCC taxation, Regulatory (UBO, ESR, AML, CbCR, ICV) and Legal matters, Payroll (including WPS), Risk Management & Control, and defining procedures. I am also well-versed in ERP (Oracle / Syspro) & many accountings’ software both tailor-made and off the shelf packages (SAGE / Tally). Because of my proficiency in the software, I am confident to adapt to any software which I may not have had the opportunity to have hands-on. 

I have the aptitude to build and lead a team. I have taken up leadership roles and have been a Head of Finance for more than 20 years. By nature, I am a very pro-active person and look forward to joining a vibrant organization where I can share my expertise.

Setup the Accounts Dept. in Abu Dhabi / In addition to recording & monitoring of daily accounting transactions, month end processes / preparation of Financials for Stakeholders (IFRS Compliant) /GCC Taxation: VAT Filing & Readiness to Corporate Tax Implementation / Liaising with Marketing, Operations, Admin. & IT Depts. for all financial issues, queries & processes /Client Contracts/ Procurement /Credit Analysis & Management/ Financial Analysis/ Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control / Cash flow /Project Management / ERP Software implementations: Oracle / Syspro, Payroll, P2P (Basware Procurement System), Travel expenses (Ulysse, Concur) / Finance Team Recruitment &  Training & Development  /Internal Audit & Controls including Risk Management, Procedures & System Evaluation /Ad-hoc reporting to all stakeholders / External Financial Audit / Insurance /Legal matters / Regulatory Compliance: UBO, ESR, AML, CbCR, ICV / ADEK : SCAD Surveys, Reporting & Compliance Audit/ Banking & Treasury/ Client and Vendor Relationship Management  / Fixed Asset management / Treasury & Banking facilities /Team Management /Payroll Management (including WPS) & HR related matters. In summary: All aspects of Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, Treasury & HR.
