Cape Hill Solicitors, Paralegal and Practice Manager                                        2019-Current Role

• Worked across a range of legal sectors such as Civil Litigation, Family Law, Immigration and Conveyancing.
• Drafted key legal documents such as wills, letters to both clients and courts, as well as forms for a variety of legal action.
• Innovated the workflow by introducing firm to LEAP, helping to digitise the filing system for better efficiency and ease of access.
• Retained clients by reaching out and increasing the firm’s visibility, catering to client needs as and when required.
• Drafted key legal documents such as Wills, Witness Statements, Court Bundles and Summaries.
• Learnt and was given key legal responsibilities such as the compiling of bundles, applications to court and representation for the firm at court as advisor to counsel
• Worked up to management position of Practice Manager
• As practice manager, I oversaw all the departments in the firm and aided as intermediary between the directors of the firm and the staff, taking on human resource responsibilities as well as creating and implementing working practices to achieve the right balance between efficiency and a good retention rate for staff.
• I also was tasked with ensuring that SRA code of conduct was properly explained to, and implemented, by staff within the practice. This is something I did through overseeing work, signposting staff to specific resources and producing literature bespoke to each department.
