I have experience in Kafka(1 year), Java(3 years), and Python(2 years) and I am currently studying at UWE, Bristol for an MSc in IT. 

I am researching and developing an AI-based web scraping tool using LLMs to create an application for maximizing plant-based food usage in the UK with the go.

I have a BSc in Software Engineering, 4 years of experience in Software Engineering in successfully contributing to various IT projects such as advertisement platforms, Cell Tower alarm management systems, and IoT plantation management systems and knowledge in developing tools using OOP, AI, NLP and LLMs.

I previously worked at IFS as a Software Engineer.

Worked with Oracle PL/SQL, and Marble Client framework.

Improved performance of legacy data importing utility. (3x faster) 
Improved speed performance and optimized memory usage of data transferring processes between internal data containers and deployment processes.

I obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc(Hons)) degree in Information Technology, specialising in Software Engineering. This degree was earned from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology in Malabe, Sri Lanka, and I completed it in February 2022.

Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology at the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol, starting in January 2023 and continuing to the present date. My graduation will be in June 2024.
