Since relocating to the United Kingdom, I have been working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker since August 2022, providing essential physical and emotional support to individuals with diverse needs such as dementia, autism, challenging behaviors, learning disabilities, and seizures.

Throughout my tenure, I have been dedicated to adhering to the 5S principles of the NHS and the 6C standards of personal care, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for residents. I possess comprehensive knowledge of health acts and have completed various physical and online training courses to enhance my skills and understanding of healthcare practices.

In my current role, I have excelled in assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding. I am well-versed in utilizing proper techniques and mechanical aids to support residents' mobility and transfers. Moreover, I have gained experience in performing nursing procedures such as obtaining specimens, recording vital signs, and administering minor non-sterile dressings under the guidance and supervision  of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.

Maintaining accurate and detailed records is a crucial aspect of my responsibilities, and I consistently report any changes in residents' conditions, behavior, and other relevant observations to the designated healthcare professionals. I am adept at ensuring residents' safety throughout all activities and promptly notifying supervisors of any adverse events or potential risks.

I take pride in upholding a clean and sanitized environment by diligently maintaining the cleanliness of residents' living areas, replenishing supplies, and promptly addressing any malfunctioning equipment or safety hazards. Additionally, I actively contribute to care planning by establishing and updating individualized ADL Care Plans and Nursing Aide Flow Sheets, ensuring a personalized approach to each resident's needs.
