Oliver Lewis

I am a hard working, kind person that always believes in putting your most into whatever you’re doing no matter what. As well as this, I enjoy helping people by giving them advice because I have a good knowledge about a lot of things. Spending around 3 years in work I know how to handle with all different kinds of customers by problem solving and being confident by approachable so I’m easy to talk to.

I worked in a bar for 3 years, during my time working in the bar I’ve had to deal with a variety of different situations from difficult to easy solutions so I can handle tricky situations and find the correct solutions for each party. I have also
had to deal with busy times where people have been wanted to get served but the que has been very long but I have never received any bad feedback and work quickly but effectively to get the work done which shows my hard working and disciplined traits that I carry.

I had to work with primary school children and help them with their work whilst the other teachers help
others in the classroom, as well as this I had worked with Special Education Needed children on a one
to one basis by breaking down the work they did to understand what they was doing and how to do it correctly, this meant I had to be vocal and have good communication so the children understood me. Alongside of this I also had to mark children’s work who was progressing quickly to allow them to move on to harder tasks so I had to be responsible by giving them the correct feedback.

Whlist I was working at the primary school I helped out with the P.E department too, I had to help out with setting up PE tasks and lessons before the children got outside to play which shows
I am organised and a good active listener, this benefited the PE staff because it meant they didn’t have to waste any of the lesson time by setting the lesson up. During the lessons I was vocal and communicated well to motivate some of the children who were struggling in the lesson but I also encouraged them so
the lesson was still fun. I also helped out with sports day which meant I had to quickly set up the races before the next one would start but also make sure that it was clear to the students what they had to do, whilst the races were being taken place I also helped the children who struggled to finish the race but once again to also have fun and enjoy their time.

I have 5 qualifications all equivalent to GCSE level in maths, english, science, business (BTEC) and sport and exercise (BTEC).
