I am a confident and outgoing 18 year old and recently left college completing A Levels. I studied Health And Social Care A Level and Photography. I am seeking an apprenticeship in a role that I feel I can enjoy and pursue a good career or gain experience and achieve my goals. I am keen to take on as much training as I can to help my success and progress.  I have my own lash extensions business that I enjoy working from home. I enjoy meeting up with friends for socialising and eating out. I also like going on walks and taking photos on my professional camera. I like art and drawing and beauty. Walking my dogs and I love all animals and nature. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Trainee Dental Nurse

June 2025 – Ongoing

I initially thought I would love to work as a Dental Nurse so applied for this role, however I unfortunately am not enjoying this role due to the repetitiveness. I really like communicating with people and patients but the role is not what |I expected and I am completing tasks that I do not enjoy. This has been a big eye-opener for me and I have reflected the experience and learned a lot about myself. I have learned I am a great communicator and like to communicate and connect with people and this role did not let me carry this out. I enjoy varied tasks including administration tasks as well as practical but unfortunately this role did not meet my expectations. Therefore I am pursuing a role that I feel I could enjoy and gain experience. hg

Eyelash Technician (self employed working from home)

August 2024 - Ongoing

I independently completed an eyelash course alongside my A Levels so I could earn some money. I am responsible for carrying out all correct assessments and have to ensure I am organised and arrange bookings. I have to ensure I have a clean and organised working area and communicate with my clients well.

3 days work experience at Keynsham Health Centre (HCRG Care Group) and NHS within the building.

July 2024 

I applied for work experience at HCRG Care Group and was able to attend for 3 days. Whilst I was at the work experience I was allowed to shadow various roles within Health and Social Care such as Nursing Team, Physio teams, reception teams and Dental Nursing. 

Polished Hair and Beauty Salon

August 2023 – August 2024

I applied for this position for Saturday work and work in the holidays whist I was at College. I really enjoed the role and gained good experience with working with clients and communicating well with them. I carried our cleaning, making tea and coffee, hair washing and drying/straightening clients hair.

Frenchay House Care Home (Ablecare)

June 2020

In the pandemic I was at school but working from home. I struggled with this situation at the time not being able to leave the house and being isolated. Therefore, I volunteered to help out in a Residential care home. The manager allowed me to help out on a few occasions. I Helped with games for residents, painted their nails and general entertainment. I was happy to make people smile which gave me confidence and self-worth.
