Omer Ahmed

A recent Mechanical Engineering graduate, having no official engineering experience due to my asylum process that took place during my last year of university. I wasn’t granted permission to work, therefore I deferred my focus into freelancing, from designing and doing simulations on both Solidworks and Ansys Workbench respectively. 

As of now I got my asylum case approved by the means of humanitarian protection due to the war break out at my home country Sudan. With that I am allowed to live and work legally in the UK for the next 5 years (2029). 

My dissertation was about 3D modeling of Compliant Hinges, in which I used solidworks, Ansys and 3D printers to achieve my goal.

I am into any computer related software, especially for the engineering side. Currently learning the Coding side, starting with html.

I had prior experience at a warehouse/ shop floor with forklift and reach training. I did food deliveries in my free time as well.

Ready to kick start my career, finally after being almost done with the asylum process.
