I have experience working with children and families, and adolescents during my second placement in the London Borough of Croydon. During my placement, I applied theory to practice, evaluate information and use different approaches and methods that might be suitable to any problem presented. I have emotional literacy, practical communication skills, active listening skills, good teamwork and can-do attitude, good assessment skills, good interaction and interpersonal skills. I am patient and compassionate, working with service users as individuals according to their needs.

- Held and co-worked a varied caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection both in the adolescent team and Social Work with Family
- I carried out statutory obligations following the departmental policy and practice.
- Undertook assessments in cases of neglect/abuse and explored support with families where appropriate to reduce the need for care or accommodation.
- They assess the needs of children and their families within an analytical and holistic framework, using appropriate tools to achieve the desired outcome for this group of service users.
- I ensured that all work undertaken in connection with the assessment, planning, monitoring, and review functions was efficient and effective with a colleague.
- Attended court with a young person and completed the report.
- I shadowed the pre-birth case conference.

- |I liaised with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure appropriate support for clients and worked as part of a team responsible for the day-to-day management of the hostel and clients to provide a high quality, lively and safe place to live.
- I undertook a range of procedural and administrative tasks relating to client work, housing management and health and safety in line with St Mungo's policies and procedures.
- I have worked with individuals who had mental health issues and drug misuse by assessing, reviewing and monitoring their social needs.
