With a solid background in data governance as detailed in my roles at XCIDR- Information Security & Risk and the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies, I bring a comprehensive set of skills that align closely with the requirements of this role.

In my current position with XCIDR, I have developed, implemented, and maintained a comprehensive data governance framework that has transformed how data is managed across the organisation. My role involved enforcing strict data governance policies, managing critical aspects of data governance including data residency, retention, and protection, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This hands-on experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage data assets and guide an organisation towards achieving its data governance and data quality goals.

At the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies, I took the initiative to establish Data Governance Councils, which played a pivotal role in the continual reassessment and mitigation of data risks. My efforts were instrumental in the creation and adoption of Data Glossaries and Data Dictionaries, enhancing data governance frameworks and policies across the organisation. These contributions have honed my ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that data governance aligns with business objectives and facilitates the strategic use of data.

My approach to data governance is proactive and results-oriented, focusing on creating frameworks that not only meet current regulatory and business needs but also anticipate future challenges.
