Senior Digital Producer & Digital Development Lead

I’ve lead of creative development of key global campaigns, such as #OurBluePlanet, produced films for BBC.com and World Economic Forum, various AR and VR innovation projects working with Google, Apple and Magic Leap.

Production digital lead on HOME with National Geographic (NDA) and on NBCU for The Americas.

I’ve also led production on multiple series for BBC Earth YouTube, Instagram and Facebook channels and developed the streamlined Springwatch live digital format & workflow enabling a lean production team to deliver high volume, high quality social content.

01/2008 – 07/2008 : Freelance Web Producer

Produced & launched an online animation channel for Channel 4. I had overall responsibility for the project and recruited the team. I handled all budgeting, scheduling & cost control, as well as day to day management, briefing and coordination of the creative, editorial & technical teams (spread between London, Bristol & San Francisco).

01/2007 – 01/2008 : Aardman Animations : Head of Online

I spent 2007 setting up an in-house digital production unit at Aardman Animations. I recruited a core team of 7 and built a network of freelance talent. We monetized core Aardman IP, such as Wallace and Gromit & Shaun the Sheep, and won outside work with clients including Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, BBC, CBBC and Channel 4.

01/2002 – 12/2006 : Aardman Animations, Bristol, UK : Head of IT

In 2001 I took over running the IT Department, concentrating on developing and streamlining Aardman's core technical processes. 

04/1999 – 01/2002 : Aardman Animations, Bristol, UK : Internet Manager

I joined Aardman with the specific role of expanding their web business. This involved building strategic partnerships with online distributors and producing new web sites for their properties to tight budgets and strict style guidelines.

05/1997 - 04/1999 : The Environment Agency, Bristol, UK : Internet Manager

I took over running the Environment Agency's web site when it was 30 static pages and developed it into a dynamic site, allowing many groups around the organisation to update it.

Working within the Corporate Strategy department, I analysed the business opportunities the Internet offered to the organisation.
