I have just finished (July 2024) at Lancing College, Brighton - where I was a Photography & Art Tutor.
As a Lecturer in Art a photographer and Mentor to groups and 121 I have my clean enhanced DBS on the update service. I have a wealth of experience in both educational and professional environments, characterised by a dynamic blend of creativity and pedagogical expertise.
My current role as a Freelance Educator and Mentor involves providing tailored educational guidance to young individuals, including those with learning challenges and special educational needs (SEN).
I design and deliver bespoke workshops that create a sense of belonging and engagement among learners, drawing on my extensive background in award-winning photography. My responsibilities include developing curriculum content, conducting hands-on digital camera and Photoshop workshops, and continuously supporting and guiding over 7500 students.
In my previous role as a Photographer for Car & Classic, I was responsible for photographing, editing, and uploading images of classic automobiles, ensuring high-quality visual content for an esteemed auction platform. Additionally, my tenure as an Art Teacher at Brockenhurst College involved instructing courses in Photography, Media, and Art History, catering to both individual and group learning needs.
My career is marked by a series of high-profile projects, such as leading global photographic expeditions and orchestrating major campaigns for clients like Nokia, BMW, Mars Foods and Ted Baker. As a producer, I managed project activities, budgets, and resource allocation, transforming company finances from debt to profit. My role also required close collaboration with art buyers and clients to sell commercial photography assets.
These roles have equipped me with a robust skill set in project management, client relations, and educational mentorship, enabling me to bring innovative and inspirational ideas to life in any teaching or creative context.
