I am currently working as a Prison RGN on agency, I am also an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse. I also have experience as a Community Nurse. I am looking for a part time community nurse job as the prison work I am doing is very similar to community nursing and I really do miss community nursing and would like to work in both areas. 

Prison Nursing involving triage (including wound care, post operative wound care, doppler tests, holistic assesments), medication administration dealing with mental health and substance misuse patients support. 

Community Nurse Experience working in community clinic and in patients homes. Duties involved wound care and post op care, compression bandaging, leg ulcer clinic with doppler testing, keeping records updated, assessing patients needs and setting up care plans, liaising with GP, Consultants and other healthcare departments, stock control and ordering

Theatre Scrub and Clinic Nurse. Duties included admission and preparation of patients on day of surgery - medical history,
administering eye drops. Discharge of patients after surgery - administering medication prescribed
by the surgeon for patients to take home. Instructions on medication and
wound care. Liaising with surgeon and GP services daily on behalf of patients. Theatre set up and surgical scrub nurse for cataract surgery
