I have worked in education settings for the last 22 years. I have extensive knowledge of pastoral and behaviour management. I am a qualified safeguarding trainer and have been a Designated Safeguarding Lead for 7 years having been a Deputy Lead for over 17 years. 
I have worked as an Assistant SENCO and a school Governor in the past and have excellent knowledge of Off Site Direction, Managed Moves and Alternative Provision. 
I was the Designated member of staff for students in Local Authority Care for  over 10 years . 
I have excellent knowledge of youth and gang violence and exploitation. 
I have managed a team of family support workers and have management and supervisory experience in my past roles. 
I am well organised, can work under pressure to meet timelines and am an excellent communicator. 
I work well as part of a team and individually. I have effective knowledge of necessary IT systems and resource in my role.
