Priyanka Lakshmikantha

I am curious and creative. I can never seem to stop creating anything. There is always an idea, picture, or business idea running through my head. I enjoy new and challenging projects that push me to learn more in this field. I am eager to join your company and contribute my skills to your design projects.

My education and experiences have given me a solid foundation in graphic design and a genuine passion for this field. My time at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom where I pursued my MA in Graphic Communications, allowed me to refine my skills in Project Management, advertising, branding, Photography, and Videography. Additionally, my Bachelor of Visual Arts(BVA) degree from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in India provided me with strong software skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, XD, Webflow, Figma, as well as Microsoft Office tools.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE  (2020-2023)

• During my internships at Royal Brothers Bike Rentals and Asiana Times based in India, I gained practical experience in creating various promotional materials, including ad posters, and banners, and also redesigning the company’s e-commerce website. I also had the opportunity to contribute to the UI design of the application.
• In the year 2020, I started my freelance career by designing social media content for artists to optimize their online presence, as well as undertaking several photography and videography projects for musicians and various clients, content creators, and influencers.
• In Bengaluru, India, I launched a T-shirt brand, designed T-shirts, bags, and phone accessories, and sold 150+ items on the first day of the launch at an offline stall. Later, I converted it to an online business, overall making approximately 78% profit on each product.
• I volunteered for a government project, C2C. We painted government school buildings in rural India to encourage kids to attend more government schools. This appeared in the local regional newspaper with a picture of us and our work because it was an impactful initiative taken by the government.

Besides my technical skills, I value effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork. I believe that open dialogue provides constructive feedback which is extremely important. I have experience working in teams and also balance multiple projects.
