Rabeya Khatun

I am Rabeya Khatun, a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with extensive experience in supporting children and adults with physical, neurological, and special educational needs. Currently serving as a Senior Physiotherapist at Therapist Point & Shonirvor Special School for Autism & Neurodevelopment Disorders (A.R Foundation), I work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to implement individualized therapy and learning plans that enhance physical, emotional, and educational development.

With over five years of experience as a Junior Physiotherapist at Recovery Physiotherapy Center, I have developed expertise in rehabilitation, exercise planning, pain management, and postural correction, empowering patients to achieve greater independence and quality of life. I am skilled in delivering physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, mobility support, stroke rehabilitation, sports injury management, and life-rehabilitation programs.

I hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Gono Bishwabidyalay, Savar, Dhaka, and have completed extensive internship training across medical hospitals and community-based rehabilitation centers. My approach emphasizes empathy, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, ensuring patient engagement and confidence while maintaining safety and dignity.

Previously, as a Junior Physiotherapist at Recovery Physiotherapy Center, I gained extensive experience in rehabilitation programs for patients with diverse conditions, focusing on pain relief, post-fracture stiffness, posture correction, stroke rehabilitation, and sports injuries. I also provided education and guidance to patients and families, supporting independence, resilience, and daily living skills.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills, ensuring patient wellbeing, safety, and progress in both clinical and educational settings.

I hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Gono Bishwabidyalay, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh (2010). My academic training was complemented by comprehensive internship experience at Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College Hospital, Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital, and various Community-Based Rehabilitation Centers, where I gained practical exposure to hospital-based care, rehabilitation, and community health services.
