Whilst completing my PGDip, I carried out my placement at HStar as a trainee CBT therapist. I then accepted a position working for The Exchange Counselling Services as a high school counsellor. Whilst working for the Exchange Counselling Service as a high school counsellor, I am regularly requested by young people and have increased the number of days that the school have the service in. I have integrated myself into the school and have been regularly referred to as part of the school family. I believe this is a vital part of being school therapist. I work regularly with the safeguarding team within the organisation and the school and work within confidentiality. I regularly keep myself up to date with child protection issues and understand issues related to counselling vulnerable, disadvantaged young people,
