About Rachel webb:

I am organised, independent and a fast learner. I have worked in various industries over the last 28 years including call centre work, security administrator, catering, being self employed, and support work for adults with ASD.  Most recently I have been a self employed digital marketer.  I am also a part time student studying BAHons History through the Open University.

I can work in a team and independently, using my initiative and am also good at following instructions.  I am calm under pressure and can meet deadlines. 
 

I am a mum of three teenagers. two of whom have ASD and other disabilities and so I have had to be organised and adaptive to their needs over the years, dealing with various care teams and medical professionals. 
 

I am likeable and approachable and have a good telephone manner. I am an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. I am in year 3 of university. I have passed every year with a 1st so far. 
I can gather and process information and am proficient on a PC using both Microsoft Office and Google Chrome. I pick up new systems quickly. I am good listener and excellent time keeper. 
 

In my spare time I read and write fiction which I have sold as a ghost writer in the past.

Experience

2000-2001

I worked in the RAC call centre in Bristol in the legal department on the telephones.

2001-2003

I worked for MBDA (BA Systems) as a security administrator; processing, man the movement of and storing sensitive information (up to Top Secret).

2003-2005

Self employed. Renovating and managing my own guest house in Spain.

2005-2012

Self Employed; I ran my own micro bakery where I employed 1 member of staff. I did all of the books, ordering, advertising, logistics, budgeting etc, as well as being hands on in the bakery every day.
 

2012-2015

Self Employed; I ran Helston Farmers market, organising over 50 producers, music, volunteers for every market as well as running the social media pages and running all of the promotional campaigns. 

2014-2016

St Uny Primary School, Carbis Bay; I worked in a school kitchen where I helped with the ordering and running of the kitchen on a day to day basis.

2016-2019

Home schooling my eldest child through her GCSE’s due to medical conditions.

2018-May 2023

Green Light PBS, Newquay; I was a support worker for adults with ASD and mental health conditions,  helping them to organise their lives, ordering and administering medications, helping them to budget as well as keeping in depth records.

2022- present; I am a self taught digital marketer, designing and running advert campaigns on social media. I have also built and run several websites.

Education

I am currently in the third year of of a BAHons history degree with the Open University. 
 

Previous to that I have completed a broad spectrum of work based training as each job required. 

I have an NNEB in Nursing from Brecon college in 1999

I have 5 GCSE’s, C grade or above from Crickhowell High School; 1996
