Rebecca Lane

I am a friendly and positive graduate of English Literature and Creative Writing. I am an innovative writer with a passion for exploring new ideas. I am fascinated by the art of storytelling. By using my vocabulary to evoke emotions and thoughts within others, I have understood how to communicate effectively in my writing. I have always been an avid reader and engaging with texts has refined my critical analysis skills. 

The skills I developed while volunteering as a manuscript proofreader and critic include close analysis and improving my critical voice. My competency in proofreading and editing was transferable to my degree and meant I had a basis to develop.
Additionally, my years of experience in retail has refined my communication skills through interacting with customers and resolving any concerns they may have. I have had to develop resilience and interpersonal skills to be able to meet customers needs and business needs.
