Rex Price

My name is Rex Price and I have just returned to London from Prague where I had been working as a university teacher. Before I moved there, I had been working for PKF Littlejohn as an auditor in their business services department. Whilst I have loved working in a people facing role and my communication and management skills have developed well in the Czech Republic I don't want to look back at the end of my career and regret not having completed the ACA qualification.

I am therefore incredibly motivated to find a trainee accountancy role. I understand that the market is competitive but I am confident that my experience is very relevant to this role.

As an audit trainee: I worked on all parts of the audit file, produced financial statements from management accounts, reconciled management accounts to both the audit file and financial statements, error checked and casted draft financial statements, mentored junior staff, worked on assignments alone, and led client meetings. I completed ten out of fifteen ACA exams without any resits.

I am two thirds of the way through the ACA qualification. I hold an undergraduate degree in Hispanic studies from the University of Nottingham.
