McDonald’s (2023 –June 2024)
Crew trainer – For the past year I have been working in McDonald’s I have developed a strong understanding of most station there is to work at, varying from organising excessive amounts for stock with specific due by dates that are to be placed at the front so they are used first whilst also organising all stock in a orderly fashion for it to be easily accessed, I have worked on the till providing customers a helpful, friendly and understanding service so they feel welcome at their time at McDonald’s, I also have a vast understanding of most station required in the kitchen weather it’s preparing, cooking or assembling the food. I have also developed very strong and needed required for the store to function. When I got giving the role of crew trainer I was training new staff on stations making them feel comfortable in the environment and helping them understand the correct way to do things
H&M ( End of 2023 – 2024)
Store assistant- while working in H&M I was stocking shelves, organising stock, on shop floor, on tills and in changing rooms. I worked in H&M whilst I was working in McDonald’s but as I am still young I want to try a bit of everything to see what the life of work is like.
Early days nursery [ 20th January 2022-June 2024]
I volunteered in early days nursery. I helped providing hot food and cold drinks to the children which helped me learn that i have to work in a clean and safe environment and beware of whats happening around me. I also helped looking after children in the class room this includes reading books and playing games this helped me build up confidence to work in a workplace around people.
The ripple centre [summer 2022]
. i volunteered by taking young people on trips during the summer this includes taking them to places like ninja warriors the roll i was giving was to supervise the children and help them if they get hurt this helped to improve my patience as children don't always listen the first this is a good quality to have when working.
Off-licences [ Start of June-End of July]
. i worked in a off-licences this included stocking shelves, serving customers and going on local newspaper deliveries this helped me build on my communications skills and customer services which is great to know when starting a new job.
Skills and personal qualities
. Hardworking- developed by regularly attending to the gym and understanding that hard work and consistency will allow me to achieve the results i would like.
. Following instructions- developed during physical education as we have tried a variety of different sports which has required me to listen to the teacher to understand the rules of each sport.
. Fast learner- shown by taking business management in S4 being able to quickly pick up on topics when being learnt them.
. Communication- demonstrated during english when working on a group project which required me to listen to others, answer questions, and to provide my own ideas clearly.
