Customer Service / Support
About Richard Chapman:
Having worked as a retail display & exhibitions project manager for many years on projects across Europe, Im looking forward to a new and refreshing role working and helping in a new environment and adopting the same levels of service, collaborative working, kindness, hardwork and at the same time improve my work life balance..
From an early age I was brought up to value the countryside and nature spending time with grandparents, in Rutland country walks across fields, visiting badger sets, gardening and all the experiences that come with being around a close knit farming community.
As a young teenager I worked the summers on farms. Holidays growing up were always about getting out there in the countryside, staying on farms, in beautiful cottages, visiting amazing coastlines, rivers and mountains.
I'm a huge fan of TV nature programs such as Spring Watch, Autumn Watch, Winter Watch and Countryfile.
In my down time away from work, with a love of the great outdoors, whatever the weather throws at me walking our Black Lab with family & friends.
Whether it be on open beaches or meadows, lake & mountain environments.I've had many holidays fell walking in the Lake District and overseas trekking in the Swiss Alps.
The importance of wellbeing and the natural world and environment is hugely important in my life.
I'm a keen sailor, hold a Royal Yacht Association dinghy sailing and powerboat qualification stage 1 & 2 and am an active member of my local inland sailing club, where I sail at leisure and competitively.
I regularly undertake a variety of voluntary activities to support the sailing club. These include, rescue safety boat and race duties, maintenance days, to continue to improve the club's natural surroundings as a nature reserve plus help and support new youth and adult sailing members. In the past I have also been a committee member.
I’m currently sailing a Solo class sailing dinghy. I have sailed as part of a larger team at sea, in corporate events and at leisure in the past and I hope to take my Day Skipper qualifications in the near future.
I hold a clean full drivers license.
I relish the opportunity to adapt to new and stimulating roles in any capacity in the future.

My most recent roles to date have been as Project Managers for Retail Display Fit Out Companies responsible for multiple roll outs of leading Watch, Beauty & Sports brand SIS Displays into JD Sports Stores throughout the UK & Europe.
In 2004 in the role of Exhibition Project Manager with considerable experience in exhibitions and graphics industries my role was to oversee the production cycle, calling upon the turn key manufacturing services including graphics, fabrication, carpentry and paint shop to produce outstanding exhibition stands which were deployed throughout Europe and the rest of the world. .
Previous experience includes a project management role with a major sign company in Northampton.
