Ritchie Goddard

Hi I am a 22 year old level 3 NVQ electrical installation apprentice currently a few months away from starting my third year to get my level 3 living in Aston, sheffield. I have recently been made redundant after working for an electrical installations company for around 20 months. I have a basic understanding and experience of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical works. Therefore I am looking for a new company to continue my apprenticeship with.
 

I began aiding a qualified electrician in a block of new build apartments in rotherham second fixing, fire alarm circuits, emergency lighting and mains power systems. After this project was complete we started doing different jobs around Yorkshire and Nottingham. through this I developed a great understanding of the basics of industrial, commercial and domestic work and eventually started doing rewires completely alone. I played a key role in the development of the new Mango store in Meadowhall sheffield which I did nights and weekend work to ensure the job was completed on time.

I attended Aston academy where I gained 7 GCSEs including english, maths and science. 

I competed a foundation degree in sports science at Sheffield Hallam university. 
 

I have completed my first year at college and will have completed my second year in late June.
