Robbie Brown

With the recent completion of my Master's degree in Clinical Health Psychology, I am eager to learn more and continue my journey to becoming a Clinical Psychologist. 

During my time at university, I have worked in the hospitality sector which required me to communicate with individuals from different walks of life and provide them with the highest quality of service within my ability. This has required me to clarify dietary requirements, cater recommendations based on their individual preferences, and communicate with the kitchen staff regarding nutritional information and regularly changing logistics within the kitchen. 

While in a voluntary position I feel I have gained a lot of experience from working with my local scout group as a leader within the older scout section. This role has placed me in a position to have to communicate effectively with young people and their parents to encourage participation/inclusion, develop skills and deescalate any disagreements between the young people.   

After completing my honors degree in Applied Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University I felt I wanted to explore Clinical Psychology further, as a result, I have recently completed my Master's in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Strathclyde which explored Clinical, Health, neuro and counseling psychology.
