I am a self motivated and efficient worker with passion and determination to succeed in whatever role I am required to do. I have mainly construction experience, but I am able to adapt and learn new skills easily by using what I know and applying it to the job or task I am given. I currently work as a Resin Floor Layer for various companies, but this requires a lot of working away from home and living in hotels. I am looking for a new challenge where I can be home more regularly after I finish my days work. I am used to working king and hard hours and would enjoy the opportunity to learn a new trade. 

Resin Floor Layer • Self Employed

As a Resin Floor Layer my resposibilies are mainly to install a Resin floor fully compliant to the specification of the product and to the customer satisfaction. I have been responsible for liasing and coordinating with other trades onsite to ensure we hit our targets and work with and around other trades to provide a complete service for our client. Following various company policies with regards to Health and Safety and Hygeine as some sites require different levels of protection for ourselves and those arounds us.

My job at Lasercroft helped me to hone my skills in Resin Flooring and helped me to become a Resin Floor Layer. To become a good Floor Layer you must first learn the ins and outs of the preparation that goes into them. I already had previous experience before I applied here so that is why here I was able to thrive and learn more of the skills that go into a good floor. Here I was able to gain experience dealing with high preasure work enviroment, working in Factories and Warehouses, which have very demanding time constraints and Health and Safety and Food Hygeine policies. I also learnt how to communicate well with various departments and ensure we could complete projects on time and even do additional works that come up as a matter of urgency due to Audits etc.

I was first introduced to Resin Flooring in 2019 and here I worked along side a Resin Floor Layer who was also Self Employed. Together we worked up and down the country working for various companies. I learnt how to prepare floors and mix different materials.
