I am a self motivated designer with over 10 years experience in the manufacturing industry and am always looking for the next challenge. 
I specialise in both 2D and 3D drafting, utilising a range of software packages including AutoCAD and Solidworks.

My role involves the production of accurate approval and manufacturing drawings detailing the construction of industrial grade ovens.

Key responsibilities:
Creating bespoke drawings to correspond with job specifications and requirements.

Liaising with fabrication and sales team to ensure product is finished to fulfill contract and brief.


Draftsperson & Production Co-Ordinator
Innerspace Wardrobes
October 2018 – May 2019

My primary role at Innerspace Wardrobes was the production of accurate cutting sheets for the manufacture of custom wardrobe fitouts.

Components are designed and individual to each job and must align with site measurements.

Achievements:
Having worked at Innerspace Wardrobes in the past, I was already familiar with the product and manufacturing process involved.
I was invited to return to innovate and improve this process using my knowledge of CAD and business management software.
In my time at the company, I also developed a website and began managing marketing for the companies latest product range of security safes.


CAD Draftsperson
Britex Metal Products
August 2012 – October 2018

My main role consisted of drawing and programming each product in flat pattern format ready to be cut on a CNC Laser.
Calculating tolerances for folding on the brake press, and welding was essential.
Prior to programming each product I would create and submit shop drawings for the clients approval.

Key responsibilities: 

2D drafting in AutoCAD
Shop Drawings for client approval.
3D Modelling in Solidworks.
Product design based off architectural drawings.

Achievements:

In my time at Britex I expanded my role considerably as I was initially employed solely for the programming of the CNC laser.
Over time I took on the majority of all drawing and drafting responsibilities meaning I was able to take the design of the product from initial proposal drawings through to the manufacturing stage.

Caravan Designer / CNC Programmer
Crusader Caravans
January 2012 - July 2012 

My role at Crusader Caravans was for the initial set up of CNC Technology.

In my time I was trained in the use of Microvellum and created a parts library ready for the integration of the new machinery.

Key responsibilities:

Creation of new drawing standard.
Integration of Microvellum and new manufacturing process.

Achievements:

As it was my sole responsibility to set up the CNC system, it was quite and achievement to ensure it operated efficiently and effectively.

2009 – 2012

In my time at Innerspace my main role was the operation of the 3-axis CNC lathe.

Key responsibilities:

CNC Lathe operation and maintenance.
Vacuum Press operation.
Manual manufacture of sliding wardrobe doors.
