Ronnie Campbell

I am a hard working motivated individual who can work effectively on my own or as part of a team. I have good organisational and communication skills. I have a keen eye for detail and am a good problem solver.

March 2021- Present 

I am currently the co-owner of Store 67 in Stornoway. My main duties include, organising stock, dealing with public, building and repairing bikes, general building maintenance.

November 2022- June 2023

Nightshift seasonal role. I was responsible for replenishing the shelves. As part of the team, I was involved in making the store and the warehouse presentable for the shop opening in the morning.

Engineer Surveyor

September 2017- March 2021

Engineer Surveyor with Zurich Insurance Company. I carried out statutory examinations at client’s premises, machinery items and pressure systems. Items included are lifting tackle, overhead cranes, passenger/goods lifts, forklift trucks, excavators, motor vehicle lifting tables, powered access platforms, tail lifts, telescopic handlers. The work is allocated on a postcode basis, which I was responsible to organise with the client and carry out the inspections while working with and around their varying needs. I was also an infield trainer for new and existing surveyors within the business.

BA Community Education (¾ completed) at Jordan Hill University Glasgow, continued   through YMCA George Williams Collage London (distance learning) whilst working at Elgin Youth Cafe.

HNC Welding Fabrication and NDT at The University of the Highlands and Islands.
