Nursery Practitioner Apprentice

Hungry Caterpillars Day Nurseries 

August 2021 to January 2022

My most recent role was a Nursery Practitioner apprentice in a day nursery where I had responsibilities of key person and maximising the learning experience of children in the preschool room following the Eyfs. As part of the preschool team, I had responsibilities of caring for 30 children aged 2 to 4 - it meant having to adapt the children's learning for their appropriate age and development. 

Bank Support Worker

Templewood Recruitment 

July 2019 to January 2021 with gaps between September 2019 to December 2019 and March 2020 to January 2021

Before this, I was a bank support worker for adults with learning disabilities and learning difficulties. Within this role, I was supporting service users to maximise their independence and had responsibilities for ensuring they took their medicine, had support budgeting and one to one experiences in the community, such as shopping. The gaps in working were due to my time at university. 

Sales Assistant 

Winchester Pharmacy 

September 2016 to May 2018 with gaps from April 2018 to May 2018.

Prior to this, I worked part time as a sales assistant in a local pharmacy. I was the first face many customers saw and spoke to and helped give them the best experience possible within the shop. The gap in work was due to being signed off by the doctor.

My highest level of education is a undergraduate degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, from which I graduated with a First Class BA with honours.
