I am a committed teacher in the creative arts sector, specialising in Graphic Design and Illustration. My experience in creative freelance has made me particularly adept to preparing students for progression into University, apprenticeships and work, ensuring my students will have the most up-to-date, relevant, and transferable skills. 

I am looking towards pursuing my career within a dedicated Art and Design teaching role that offers support for progression.

Experience

  • Developing lessons and schemes of work
  • Creating a design brief
  • Embedding Maths and English into the creative briefs
  • Formative and Summative assessments
  • Delivering lessons via PowerPoint and Google Class room
  • Promoting both traditional and digital media, and how to successfully combine those elements
  • Help and taught sessions, in the use of digital applications such as Photoshop and In-design 
  • Supervising and supporting students towards their goals
  • Promoting digital literacy via project briefs and workshops
  • Plan and organise effective lessons, time management and how to adapt to situations that have not been pre-planned for.
