Ruby Skippings

Hi! I'm Ruby, a 23 year old English Lit grad and self-confessed Rom-com officiando with a love for everything Jordan Peele has ever made. Screenwriting is my first love, but my drive for things to go well means I've enjoyed all my little bits and pieces of on-set and post-prod work. I'm looking for a customer-facing position in the world of film - whether that's as a cinema team member, receptionist or anything in between. I'm naturally organised, an extroverted blabbermouth and an excellent maker of a strong Yorkshire tea. 

Extensive experience in all things customer service, including hospitality and retail. I've thrived in environments ranging from gastro pubs, department stores, fine dining restaurants and gift shops. Furthermore, I have experience in call centres and civil service offices in administrative/transcription roles. Most recently, I've been working as an Assistant Teacher through the prestigous JET Programme in Japan. 

I aquired a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from UEA, the first University in the UK to teach the course. 2:1 grade.
