I'm Rukhsaar Malik, A first class honours Textiles Design graduate, based just outside London.My work is hugely influenced by my experiences and culture. I love to create work that communicates personal experiences into positive outcomes. I aim to create designs that makes a difference and helps others. I am able to take inspiration from the catwalks and convert it to up to date on trend commercial designs. I am extremely dedicated to this work and have the ability to stick to tight deadlines and extremely good with solutions.

I design for womenswear and who ever wants to wear it, along with home textile. Using a combination of hand drawn and painted elements with expert knowledge of CAD, I can deliver a creative and beautiful sets of designs, shapes, prints and embroidery to fit any brief. 

My extensive experience as a freelance fashion and print designer aligns seamlessly with any multifaceted role. My passion for design, particularly within the womenswear, is reflected in my ability to conceive strong, graphic, and print-led concepts. Through my years in the industry, I have honed my creative flair and developed a profound understanding of garment construction, from initial spec"ing to comprehensive technical packs, ensuring designs are brought to life seamlessly.

Drawing from my experience as a Freelance Fashion Designer at INTO GAIA, I offer the ability to seamlessly fuse fashion and print design, producing captivating and brand-defining pieces. My aptitude for conceptualizing and delivering seasonal collections that flawlessly integrate innovative garments with complementary print motifs is a testament to my design prowess. I am skilled in sketching, pattern-making, garment construction, and print design techniques, translating brand messages into visually compelling designs that resonate with clients and project objectives.

My tenure as a 3D Modeler/Artist at METAMINE exemplifies my versatility. Contributing to an upcoming app, I learned how to create 3D character design and object animation, underscoring my commitment to adaptability and continuous growth. Furthermore, my roles as a Junior Fashion Designer at both BABES COUTURE and TOWP SPORTS underscore my capacity to create comprehensive mood boards, translate concepts into market-ready collections, and integrate current market trends into my designs. My skills in negotiation, pre-production oversight, and trend analysis empower me to contribute effectively to collaborative projects. I am eager to contribute to the collective by pushing creative boundaries, elevating brand identities, and delivering innovative designs that resonate with audiences.

 Eager to contribute to the fashion industry through my creative flair, strong design skills, & in-depth knowledge of textiles. Experienced in 3D modeling, embroidery, digital/screen printing, weaving, and proficient in Adobe Photoshop. Strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a clear understanding of print and embroidery.
