Ruth Hedley

Hello my name is Ruth and I am a yoga teacher currently in England but moving to Australia in the coming 2-3 months. After years of having my own yoga practice I took the leap in January this year to train as a Yoga teacher. Since qualifying I have set up my own weekly classes, taught in 3 yoga studios, taught private students and have also been the resident yoga teacher and wellness assistant at 2 wellness hostels in Panama.

During the Pandemic I began working within the NHS across multiple administrative roles. This experience helped me gain great insight into organising effectively, managing teams and working with patients. I have a passion for wellness and am currently half way through a diploma around how we can use diets to heal the body. I love this holistic approach to wellness through movement, breath, meditation and nutrition.

I have professional experience working as a yoga teacher within a range of studio settings along with being the wellness assistant and resident yoga teacher in 2 wellness hostels in Panama. I also have experience working within the healthcare system in England in administrative roles giving me experience with working with people and patients as a collective team. I have a degree and experience working as a dancer so have consistent training on how to use the body to heal the mental and physical body.

First class honours degree in Dance and choreography (2018)

In process- Diploma with the school of natural medicine, Healing Diets coaching 

GCSEs- 12 including Maths, English and science
