About Saffron Gotch:
I’m a hardworking, organized, and creative professional with a passion for delivering high-quality work in the performing arts and events sectors. My strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities allow me to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments. I thrive when managing complex projects, balancing multiple responsibilities while staying adaptable and focused.
My creativity and passion drive me to find innovative solutions to challenges, while my organizational skills ensure smooth execution from planning to final delivery. I’m dedicated to producing impactful work and always strive for excellence in every project I undertake.
Experience
I’ve had the opportunity to work across various roles in production management, stage management, and event coordination. As Production Manager for the Uproar Festival, I oversaw the planning and execution of a multi-week event, ensuring every detail was carefully managed and delivered smoothly. I also served as Assistant Producer for LiF, working closely with the founder, Dr. Mark Smith, to support the vision and logistics of the production.
In addition, I took on the role of Deputy Stage Manager for Blowing a Raspberry at Hitler!, where I coordinated the technical and creative aspects of the performance, helping bring together the historical narrative and the production’s technical needs. My current role as a bar supervisor allows me to expand my leadership skills, working on event planning and partnerships to increase footfall, particularly by collaborating with student events companies.
Education
During my time at Liverpool John Moores University, I developed a strong passion for production management and event coordination. My degree in Drama provided me with the opportunity to manage and coordinate a variety of performances and events, focusing on the logistical and operational aspects of productions. Notably, I took on key roles, such as overseeing the Uproar Festival as Production Manager, where I handled everything from scheduling and budgeting to team coordination and venue management.
These experiences have shaped me into a highly organized and adaptable individual. I excel at balancing multiple responsibilities, solving problems quickly, and collaborating effectively within teams. Always eager to learn and take on new challenges, I take pride in my ability to contribute to the smooth and successful execution of the projects I work on.
