Sahil Ali

I am an individual with a great mass of experience in the support section of education. This is including behaviour/ pastoral and any welfare roles within the behaviour sector. I have over 2 years of experience in a variety of different schools. 

Majority of this experience has been gained in secondary schools within the age ranges of 11-19. Also including sixth forms. I have done behaviour work, pastoral work and welfare work. 
 

I have great communication and team bonding skills. I have certification for team bonding and employabilit. I also have cybersecurity and safeguarding certification. 

I started it at Carlton Bolling Academy doing cover supervisor and pastoral assistant. I was also filling as a learning support assistant working with difficult students. Examples are, sem, send and behaviour difficulties. I then moved onto doing pastoral assistant where I was filling in within head of years and the safe guarding team. This work involved doing lesson drop ins, lesson pickups involving students. Phone calls home to parents, suspensions, detentions, inclusion unit, reset room. Break and lunchtime supervision ( extra role ) 

I then moved too Beckfoot Oakbank in Keigley doing lead behaviour and attendance. This role consisted of two roles within the same job. Doing attendance in the morning up until 11am and then moving onto doing behaviour work within the pastoral and head of year team. Attendance role included to work closely with families whos kids are frequently out of school. Doing home visits on students who miss school for a certain amount of days. Working closely with head of years in order to offer alternatives to students who are not doing well in school. This involved behaviour placements, suspensions and the inclusions unit.  
 

I then moved too Beckfoot Thornton in Bradford which has been my recent experience. I was doing behaviour support assistant. This manly included roles within pastoral and head of year work. 

Leeds becket university, studied for roughly six months and dropped out too Personal MH reasons.
