I am a self- employed professional henna artist whilst balancing my studies to fulfil my goals as an aspiring solicitor. 

I have previously worked as a legal assistant at Amjad Malik Solicitors. Specialising in immigrational and family law, I utilised legal databases to conduct legal research and keep up to date with law regulations, policies, and procedures to support clients’ cases. Used my legal research and writing skills on cases involving asylum seeking and domestic violence to draft reports for clients, summarising legal points succinctly. Negotiated with opposing parties on behalf of clients to favour settlements within divorce disputes. Dealing with clients professionally and efficiently. Observed interviews between client and solicitor providing initial advice on asylum seeking, which developed client consultation, explaining complex legal points regarding visa applications, deportation defence and asylum claims.

I have recently completed my Law LLB degree after working on my dissertation for months. The focus of my dissertation was how AI was affecting the legal industry and what changes are required to keep control of AI abusing its power to inflict crime, however looking at the positive side of how AI can also provide help in the legal industry. My main focus was on white collar crimes and the correlation of a business liability and Autonomy of AI.
