I am an experienced educator and 3D animation specialist with a strong background in curriculum design, teaching, and industry-focused training. As an FE Lecturer and Course Coordinator at University Centre Weston since 2021, I have led the Level 3 Game & Animation program, delivering specialized content in 3D modeling, rigging, and animation. My role emphasizes student progression to higher education and employment while supporting diverse learner needs, including SEND students, through adaptive teaching methods. I have also promoted safeguarding and Prevent strategies, organized educational visits with thorough risk assessments, and contributed to high student progression rates and Ofsted-recognized excellence.
In my concurrent role as an HE Lecturer, I deliver modules such as 3D Animation Pipeline, Game Industry Insights, and Cultural/Ethical Awareness, ensuring alignment with academic and industry standards. My professional experience includes animation work for Meteor Pixel and Titan Roc, where I developed high-quality prototypes and innovative creature animations. With a background in customer service and management, I bring leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering both academic and creative growth. .I have a solid academic foundation in games and animation, complemented by ongoing professional development in education. Currently, I am pursuing a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training at University Centre Weston to further enhance my teaching expertise. My academic journey includes earning a Bachelor's degree in Games and Animation Production from the University of the West of England in 2019, following a Foundation Degree in the same field completed in 2018.
Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Computer Animation for Game and Film from Weston College, which provided the technical and creative groundwork for my career in animation and education. This diverse academic background has equipped me with both industry-relevant skills and a commitment to fostering the next generation of creative professionals.
