I am final year student looking for internship experience or graduate roles in asset management and wealth management.    

I began my professional career at PIMCO as a spring intern, learnt about various asset classes, and understood investment strategies used while constructing a fund. Through this experience, I understood how different financial services firms fit in an ecosystem and their way of operation. I interned at Allianz as a distribution analyst during the summer of last year. Working at the firm'so heart involved me interacting with different business operations, such as RFP, risk and compliance, investment and products. This interaction helped me understand the different roles carried out by various operation units, the work carried out by each, and how they support meeting the client's needs. During this internship, I was involved in two significant projects. One involved me finding an additional list of DFMs, a different list of client base. I presented this opportunity to the head of distribution, showcasing 50+ DFMs and a strategy for approaching these potential clients. Another project involved me working in a team and researching and presenting ' how Allianz could capture the Genz market through its products.' This project involved presenting in front of 100 employees, and we were voted the best out of 6 groups. 

I have also worked at Google as a sales and advertisement intern and established a short-lived business venture called Lavender. These experiences have helped me understand organizational and individual client mindsets. Overall, I have observed through experience that having a great product is a must. However, being able to explain this to a client and being able to sell it is the most crucial part.
